We were asked to structure the digital transformation approach of a large-scale family-owned business with focus on fast ROI.
Current state analysis: we started the project with an outside-in validation of digitalization potentials based on our specific industry experience. After a workshop series with industry experts and our client’s leadership team, we were able to identify key areas for the application of digital transformation initiatives.
Digital change management: The initial hypothesis was validated with key business stakeholders and customers following a digital change management approach. After a structured prioritization process, five initiatives were selected for prototyping and technical validation. In close collaboration with the IT team and the functional teams, we created technically feasible and highly automated future processes.
Initiative launch: The prioritized digital initiatives were built as mock-ups and shared with customers and end users for adaption and final validation. Immediately after final customer feedback, the digital initiatives were brought into IT implementation in an agile project approach. We helped build an initiative roll-out plan that was adapted and continuously adjusted in the agile implementation.
